Wings Over Houston Airshow 2011 – part II
Here are a few more shots from the Wings Over Houston airshow this year. Took a ton of shots, as always, and it has taken me a while to go through them all. I’ll put some descriptions on them later.

Wecome to my blog. My goal is to share some of my favorite photos including the details behind the shots with a few tips along the way. I’m an early riser so you will see lots of early morning wildlife photos. The golden light in the morning can be magic and for me it’s all about the light.

You certainly know how to milk everything you can get out of that 100-400. I swear it’s an integral part of you by now. Another great series of shots.

Lucky you! The B-29 didn’t fly Sunday. I did catch it doing rides in Brookshire on Wednesday, though. The San Antonio show is at Randolph AFB this weekend, where it will also be flying….

Thanks Doug. I am kinda attached to that lens. I’ve only been out shooting 63 times this year so far but luckily the year isn’t over yet.

Hey Bruce. It was cool to see it fly on Sat. Didn’t know that it was grounded on Sunday. I had to leave about 1:00 p.m. to catch a flight. Not sure if I’m heading to San Antonio this year or not.
