Splish Splash

This male Northern Cardinal was busy taking a bath on my last trip to Santa Clara ranch in south Texas.  Made a cool subject to photograph from the recessed blind that was almost level with the pond.

Taken with Canon 1DX and Canon 500mm F4 IS II

1/1250 sec @ F 8, ISO 1600, evaluative metering
